My Geraniums

Here they are, just transplanted. I will post their progress as time goes on.

Our "neighborhood" train station

These flowers and statue are in front of the Weissenbuhl train station, a 6 minute walk (or 3 minute run!) from our apartment. The flowers appeared almost overnight! And don't worry, the train in the background wasn't ours.

We walk past this amazing garden on our way to Aldi's. I don't think the picture does it justice.

Speed Dating for Mustard???

Mustard comes in tubes here. (Senf is mustard.) The little hot dog girl is trying to choose which mustard she would like best. (I love her eyelashes!) How do you like the Dijon French guy?

Another Cute Ad

Now that Easter is over, the Easter bunny is crying, because people are now getting their chocolate in this cookie. He's saying, "Darn, people are now nibbling Dar-Vida cookies."

"Chicken Delight" Swiss Style

I just had to take a picture of this vehicle, parked in front of the bicycle store across the street. I just love the Swiss chicken on top! It says, "the best Swiss grilling chicken" under "NaturaGüggeli"(Güggeli is Swiss for rooster). The writing on the door is a play on words. It can read, "With us you can celebrate your party" or "With us you can really party." The truck was towing a trailer, too, which is probably a portable grill.

Daniel's Prelude, in Disguise

We saw this across our street, and decided Daniel's Prelude had escaped his yard in Utah, undergone a makeover, and is now hiding out in Switzerland.
